“Who’s Afraid of Drawing?” (at Museo del Novecento until 24 February) also includes an entertaining and unexpected contribution by Virgilio Villoresi, who has made an animated video using paper, a sort of dream tribute to the Ramo Collection: “Sogni di Segni” examines drawing in the form of dreams, playing with the works and colors of fourteen of the artists included in the show. In the video, which features the exceptional presence of its maker, the protagonists are two hands, which with paper, brushes and paints of different kinds literally bring to life some of the drawings in the collection, creating an effective, dynamic dialogue between the various works.
