100% ITALIA is an exhibition on the last 100 years of Italian art, from the start of the 1900s to the present. In a complete historical overview, the project is an opportunity to underline the pre-eminent role of Italian art, with its profound impact on European and worldwide creativity.
Each year and each decade are marked by forceful personalities that influenced the art of the “short century” and beyond; no other European nation has been able to offer artists and masterpieces, schools and movements, manifestos and artistic proclamations with the same continuity as Italy.
In a moment in which the identity value of a nation needs to be re-examined, reconfirmed and emphasized, not to stake out a claim but to facilitate comprehension of history, 100% ITALIA rediscovers and takes stock of clear values that have been underestimated by many critics for too many years.
The artists, seen as cornerstones of international culture, are all represented by one work or more, emblematic of their pathways and historical periods.
The greatness of the masters can thus be perceived individually and in an itinerary in which the visitor takes an extraordinary journey across an entire century.
Collezione Ramo has contributed to the event, loaning works by Russolo, Dottori, Prampolini and Depero.
